Little Falcon Fastpitch Academy will be held Monday, Aug. 9 and Tuesday, Aug 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at a cost of $65 per participant. This camp is designed for ages seven through 12 years old and covers skills such as field and base running, hitting techniques, pitching as well as catching. For ages 13 to 17 years old, the Advanced Falcon Fastpitch Academy covers the same skills and will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, Thursday, Aug. 12 and Friday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at a cost of $100 per participant.
“This academy promises to be a great softball experience,” commented Daytona State College Co-Head Coach, Alison Mohr. “We have an awesome line-up of instructors including the SEC Pitcher of the Year, Kelsi Dunne, who currently attends the University of Alabama.”
Members of the Daytona State Softball team will join the coaching staff with instruction being provided by Co-Head Coach, Sabrina Manhart; Assistant Coach from Eckerd College, Rachel Kilbert; and former Division I Assistant Coach, Alissa Smith.
