Anthony Andre' begins his 5th year as the Head Coach for the men's program. Andre' is from Albany, New York. He is a Graduate of Colonie Central High School, where he led his team to a District championship. Coach Andre' received a scholarship to Wichita State University, but then transferred and graduated from Butler County Community College (BCCC). At BCCC he averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds while earning All-Conference honors. He finished his college career at the University of West Alabama, earning all-conference honors and a B.S in Business Administration and a Masters in Continuing Education with an emphasis in Physical Education. He went on to play professional basketball in South America and Europe for three years. During his professional career he has competed against some of the game's best players, Sam Perkins (Los Angeles Lakers), John Sally (Detroit Pistons) and Dominique Wilkins (Atlanta Hawks)
Coach Andre' has had a wide variety of coaching experience and administrative experiences and is a proven winner. He started as an assistant coach at the University of West Alabama, his alma mater. He then went on to coach at Greater Perimeter College in Decatur, Georgia, Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma, Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama, Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina. Andre also was the Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Texas College in Tyler, TX
He has a sincere interest in the student part of the student-athlete. His first goal is to have his basketball player's graduate and become productive citizens. Andre' has a Graduation rate of 90 percent of those players under his tutelage. Daytona State Men's Basketball program's GPA has soared under his leadership. The 2008-2009 team had an overall GPA of 2.91 the highest ever for a Daytona State Men's basketball team. The 2009-2010 basketball team combined the classroom accomplishments with a conference championship. The last 3 years the Falcons have had 9 students make the all-state academic team. In the last 3 years the falcons have had 15 players selected to the mid Florida all-academic team. The falcons have had 2 NJCAA Academic All Americans in men's basketball. The falcons have had the last two years the prestigious Hal Casey award winner for the best scholar basketball player in the state. Coach Andre's overall record at Daytona State is 59-60.
Coach Andre' has one son, Ian, who is at Georgia Southwestern.
Sebastian Singletary

Sebastian Singletary begins his 1st season as an assistant coach with the Falcons. Singletary joins the Falcons staff after most recently serving as and assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at Stetson University under head coach Derek Waugh. In his 1st full season as recruiting coordinator Singletary put together the top recruiting class in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Along with his recruiting duties Sebastian will assist in the development of all Falcons players. He is responsible for player development, opponent scouting, camps, recruiting, and other administrative tasks.
During Singletary time at Stetson University he coach 38 all conference academic honors and 7 all conference performers.
After graduating from Stetson in 2001, Singletary played three seasons of professional basketball internationally. In 2001, Singletary averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game with Calpe Aguas in Spain. He was named Player of the Week three times and Player of the Month once. In 2002, he played for the Universidad de Conception in Chile, and in 2003, he played for Herens Basket in Switzerland.
A three-year starter and two time 1st team all-conference performer for the Hatters, Singletary averaged 14.2 points and 9.0 rebounds during his career. As a sophomore he was tied for conference leader in rebounding. As a junior he led the conference and ranked 21st nationally with an average of 9.3 rebounds per game. He also scored at a 15.3 ppg clip and was selected first-team all-conference.
As a senior Singletary helped lead the Hatters (17-12) to the semifinals of the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament for the first time in seven years. Along with teammate Santos Hampton, Singletary led the league and ranked 28th in the nation with a 9.2 rebounding average. He was again named first-team all-conference.
Singletary was also an All-State performer in his one season at Central Florida Community College. He averaged 16.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game and helped lead the Patriots to a 19-11 record. A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Singletary was a four-time team MVP at Andrew Jackson High School.
Singletary and his wife, Deborah, have a daughter Jordan, age 9, Bryanna, age 2 and stepdaughters Ivana, age 18, and Hannah, age 16.
