DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 10, 2010) – The Daytona State College Foundation has cooked up a bodaciously delicious event – The Wild Game Feast and Swamp Cabbage Festival - Saturday, April 10, from 3 to 7 pm. Award winning chefs from the Daytona State College Culinary program will be preparing wild game dishes such as venison, gator tail, boar, wild turkey and a whole lot more. In addition to serving wild game, there will be a host of activities for the entire family to enjoy - live music, petting zoo, pony rides, vendors and exhibits.
Destination Daytona and Coca-Cola have partnered with the Daytona State College Foundation and Rotary Club of Flagler County to host this event. Proceeds from this event will assist the Daytona State College Foundation with campus growth initiatives and student scholarships and will also benefit students of Flagler County by awarding scholarship opportunities through the Rotary Club of Flagler County.
