Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)


TABE is an instrument used to determine a student's readiness to enter certain programs. TABE measures basic reading, mathematics, and language skills. TABE is not a pass/fail test.
Assistance with TABE preparation, before and/or after taking the test, is available in the  Vocational Preparatory Instruction lab located in Daytona State College's Academic Support Services area.

Placement Test Schedules

Assessment Services is responsible for monitoring test sessions.   Daytona State College does not tolerate cheating nor disruptive behavior.  If an examinee is suspected of cheating, the test session will be terminated and voided and the examinee will be asked to leave the area.  The incident will be reported to college officials and disciplinary action may be taken.
