Class Starting January 21st, 2011, Deadline to Register is Thursday, January 13th
Course Fee is $200 - Must register at the Daytona State College Aquatic Center, Bldg 310. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due upon registration. Balance due the 1st day of class.
You must be able to pass the pre-test which consists of the following:
- Proficiency in: Front Crawl (25 yds), Back Crawl (25 yds), Breastroke (25 yds), Elementary Backstroke (25 yds), Sidestroke (25 yds), & Butterfly (15 yds)
- Maintain position on back 1 minute in deep water
- Tread water for 1 minute and
- Posses a fundamentals of instructor training (FIT) certificate issued within the past 12 months, a class will be offered Wednesday, January 19th, 5:30pm -10 pm.

All classes must be attended to be certified.
Please bring bathing suit, towel, and change of clothes for each class. Course consists of classroom and pool time.
